1. Contoh penerapan Stack:

• Menurunkan batu bata dari dalam truk.
• Minuman dingin yang diambil dari showcase di minimarket.

• Tumpukan kertas pada saat aktivitas print.

2. Contoh penerapan Queue yaitu:

• Antrian pada saat akan berobat ke Rumah Sakit.
• Antrian pada saat akan membayar pajak.

Queue jika diartikan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia adalah antrian. Dalam hal ini adalah sebuah struktur data yang cara kerjanya menganut sistem First in First Out (FIFO). Sedangkan Stack adalah sebuah struktur data yang cara kerjanya menganut sistem First In Last Out (FILO).

Contoh logicnya sebagaimana contoh di atas yaitu:

Seseorang mengangkat batu bata dan dimasukan ke dalam truk hingga penuh. Maka pada saat menurunkan batu bata maka batu bata yang terakhir masuk dulu akan keluar dan seterusnya hingga ke batu bata yang pertama masuk (FILO). Inilah contoh dari Stack.

Seseorang datang mengantri untuk berobat ke Rumah Sakit dan mendapatkan nomor antrian pertama. Maka pada saat pengobatan dimulai, maka orang tersebut menjadi orang pertama yang akan diobati oleh dokter (FIFO). Inilah contoh dari Queue.
